The chair foot (10) is joined to the column (18) and is replaceable by a plug-in connection. The foot has a conical opening (12.1, 12.2) into which fits the downward tapering end (18.1) of the column.The foot is cruciform the ends of which (11.1) are fixed on one side to rollers (13) and, on the opposite side (17), to slide pieces (14).
