<p>Method of preparation of a silica-based part characterized in that following preparation of an agglomerated blank of silica fibres, balls or rings, the silica powder is deposited on said blank so that the powder is confined thereon. The blank so obtained is then subjected to a temperature exceeding the melting point of the powder in order to vitrify, at least on the surface the part obtained. The present invention also concerns devices obtained by carrying out said method.</p> |
