The valve device has a distributor casing (2) with distribution a channel (4). The distribution channel is in the form of a basically cylindrical recess in the casing, with a diversion body (8) in the centre (6). The input channel is orthogonal to the plane in which the axes (21-23) of the output channels (11-13) lie. The turning axes (37-39) run through the middle of the setting valves (31-33). These channels are of rectangular cross section in the vicinity of their entry into the distribution channel. With the setting valves closed, their surfaces facing the distribution channel are directly against the external wall of the distribution channel.
