<p>The cot consists of a rigid frame covered by a layer (15) of a supple fabric over the sides of the frame and a mattress support (12), which is adjustable in height. The fabric layer is equipped with sliding clasp fasteners (16), enabling the surface area of the layer to be reduced, while the mattress support is connected to the lower part of the fabric layer. The fabric layer passes underneath the mattress support, which can be raised or lowered relative to the frame by means of adjustable sleeves (11) on the frame's uprights (1a,1b).
