<p>A configuration parameter programming system of a telephone is presented which is executable by an end user or service person. The configuration parameter programming system is accessed through the use of a dial memory register or other data transfer means, and a control means. In this way, the Dial Pulse Rate, Dial Pulse Make/Break Ratio, DTMF Duration, DTMF Inter Digit Delay, Pause Duration and other configuration parameters of a telephone are programmable after manufacture without requiring hardware modification. <IMAGE></p> |
