<p>Digital data formatting/deformatting circuits for performing digital data formatting/deformatting operations separately from a digital signal processor to reduce the required time and power consumption in formatting and deformatting digital data. In the formatting operation, the data to be formatted are arranged in a line and then outputted in the unit of a desired number of bits. In the deformatting operation, the formatted data are arranged in a line and then outputted in the unit of the original number of bits.</p> |
