The present invention relates to a tool for mounting chips (15) between two flat heat sinks (14, 16). The tool comprises: a mounting plate (20) provided with a set of ramps (22) arranged in a sawtooth fashion; a plurality of main vees (26) arranged in alignment at the bottom of the ramps and open towards the crest of the ramps; and, for each main vee, a central vee (28) projecting from the main vee and separating the latter into two sub-vees which are each intended to receive a heat sink parallel to the associated ramp, the central vee being intended to receive a chip.
