The postage stamp moistener is for wetting or applying glue to stamps. It has a water or glue container with a fixed felt of the appropriate width, so that under light pressure, the contents can be transferred to the tip. The type of tip can be changed.By the same process, the container can be filled and the tip can be changed to suit different types of materials and adhesives. Light pressure on the sides (7) drives the dish (5) upwards, closing the apertures (2) in the upper dish, allowing the fluid to pass into the tip.
