<p>The mechanism consists of a support which is attached to the bottom of the door or window and is made in an inverted U-shape. An oscillating arm (7) is attached to the support by a pivot (10) which is both horizontal and transverse in relation to the U-shape, and has a slider (2) attached to its free end. The arm (7) is pivoted by means of a cam (11), whose angle is controlled by a regulating screw (3). The cam is connected to the support by a pivot (14) and is pressed against the oscillating arm, while the adjustment of the cam by the screw is made through a pair of arms (13) between the cam and screw. The arms are connected to each side of the cam on the ends of a pivot (17) passing through it, and to the screw by a transverse plate (15) with a threaded hole. <IMAGE></p> |
