<p>The present invention relates to a glazing pane exhibiting a color purity of greater than 16 percent, as measured by reflection from the coated side, and a solar factor of less than 70 percent, wherein the pane comprises a substrate and a pyrolytic coating consisting of (A) one absorbent coating layer containing at least one metal oxide being selected from the group comprising oxides of chromium, cobalt and iron, and (B) a non-absorbent coating layer being in contact with said absorbent layer (A) and containing a material having a refractive index within the range of 1.4 to 3.0. Process for producing such glazing pane, being also claimed in the present invention, comprises successive pyrolytic coating of a substrate with the above indicated layer (A) and (B).</p> |
