<p>PURPOSE:To reduce in size and weight of the above device by integrally forming a control circuit with a heat sink and an ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is sent to a control circuit 8 through a connector 63, a current to a primary coil of a coil assembly 5 is controlled. A pulselike high voltage responsive to the control is generated in a secondary coil, and applied to a distributor via a high tension cord connection to a high voltage terminal 64. Thus, heat generated from a power transistor used in the circuit 8 and heat from the assembly 5 are transferred to a heat sink 7, partly radiated from windows 65, 66 into the atmosphere, and partly radiated to a mount 11 through a mounting surface 73. Part of the generated heat is effective transferred to a case body 6 through a filled resin material, and radiated from its surface. The circuit 8 and the assembly 5 are contained in the body to reduce in size and weight a device.</p> |
