Method for purifying a contaminated oxidizing solution in a dialysis cell

The present invention describes a method for purifying oxidizing solutions. In contrast to the idea common in the prior art that certain anion-selective membranes are unsuitable for this purpose, the present invention demonstrates that anion-selective membranes can indeed be used in a dialysis cell to purify these strongly oxidizing solutions. A specific embodiment demonstrates purification of a chromic acid solution contaminated with cations.
