1) Preserving contaminated soil in situ in such an environmentally responsible manner that the multifunctionality principle within a residential area/habitat is satisfied. 2) The contaminated soil is stored in compartmented watertight containers (caissons) which are fitted into the infrastructure (road constructions). 3) Depending on the type of contamination it is possible for the different types of contaminated soils to be stored separately. 4) By virtue of a concatenation of containers it is possible for a road structure to arise, thus introducing the principle of coordinated operation. This produces substantial advantages in terms of costs and civil engineering. 5) If required, the underground infrastructure in the form of cables and piping, including sewerage, can be attached to the construction by means of brackets (supports).
