An apparatus for needling a nonwoven web comprises two needle beams (3a, 3b) arranged one behind the other in the direction of travel (1) of the web and guided each by a rocker (10a or 10b) and actuated each by a slider-crank mechanism (7a or 7b), the slider-crank mechanisms (7a or 7b) comprising parallel crankshafts or eccentric shafts (9), which are rotated in mutually opposite senses so as to compensate mass forces, moments and vibration in the apparatus. <IMAGE> |
