Installation which comprises an orientable base 1, a support structure 2 fixed on said base, at least one rotary shaft 4 which is horizontal or inclined, which is mounted by means of journals (bushes) 5 or bearings on the structure 2, and a series of coaxial propellers (screws) 6 mounted securely on the shaft 4. Each shaft 4 and the various propellers 6 mounted thereon define a rotor 15 which forms an acute angle with the direction 12 of the prevailing wind. The vanes (blades) 9 of consecutive propellers 6 occupy positions which are not angularly coincident. <IMAGE>
