PURPOSE:To provide output pictures provided with accurate colors at all times without being influenced by the secular change and individual difference of a scanner and a printer at the time of color conversion. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a scanner input conversion table 3 for converting RGB signals inputted from a color scanner 1 to R'G'B' signals independent of the scanner and a first color conversion part 2 provided with a masking function for converting the R'G'B' signals to Y'M'C'K' signals. A second color conversion part 4 uses a printer output conversion table 5 and converts the Y'M'C'K' signals into YMCK signals independent of the printer, that is, not influenced by the output characteristics of the printer at the time of picture output. |
