PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust the ion concn. in a blood prepn. by packing an ion adjusting medium capable of adjusting a specific blood ion concn. into an ion adjusting chamber having an introducing port and a leading- out port. CONSTITUTION:A bottle needle 2 made of a synthetic resin is inserted and connected to the blood transfusion port of a blood bag in which the blood prepn. is preserved. Roll clamps 4a, 4b are opened to successively pass the preserved blood through a connecting tube 3, the ion adjusting chamber 6a and a blood transfusion tube 10 in this order by utilizing the head difference between the blood bag and the ion adjusting device la of the preserved blood prepn. Blood transfusion is executed by pricking an injection needle to a patient, then adjusting the blood flow velocity by the roll clamp 4b. The ion concn. of the potassium ions in the plasma is lowered by passing the blood prepn. before connection to the blood bag at the time of using, for example, the preserved blood prepn. to an immature baby, etc., and, therefore, the safe use of even the blood prepn. of a long preservation period is possible. |
