PURPOSE:To provide the non-radiative dielectric line for which a reflection loss is reduced and the price is lowered as well. CONSTITUTION:When a gap between metal boards 1 and 2 is defined as (a) and the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave of a milli wave to be transmitted is defined as lambda, in the case of (a)<lambda/2, at the part where is no dielectric strip 3, the propagation of electromagnetic waves parallel to the electrode panels is blocked by the metal boards. At the part where the dielectric strip 3 is inserted, however, the blocked part is canceled, and the electromagnetic waves are propagated along the dielectric strip 3. A first reflected wave 6 reflected at a discontinuous part 5 is canceled by a second reflected wave 8 forcedly generated at a discontinuous part 7 formed by an adjusting means 4. |
