UPPER NOZZLE BRICK FOR SLIDING GATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the spalling resistance and erosion resistance of an upper nozzle brick for a sliding gate and attempt stable use thereof. CONSTITUTION:A refractory raw material having a chemical compsn. consisting of 50 to 90wt.% Al1O3 and 10 to 50wt.% ZrO2 is used at 10 to 45wt.% for the upper nozzle brick for the sliding gate consisting of 60 to 90wt.% aluminous refractory material. The upper nozzle brick for the high aluminous SN formed by using the refractory raw material having the chemical compsn. consisting of 50 to 90wt.% Al1O3 and 10 to 50wt.% ZrO2 is greatly improved in the corrosion resistance and spalling resistance and its service life is improved by about 1 to 2ch as compared with the service life of the upper nozzle brick for the high aluminous SN in practicable use. The safe use thereof is thus possible.
