The invention relates to a modelling clay composition which contains, as dry substance components, flour, most expediently wheat flour, salt, most expediently cooking salt (NaCl), oil, most expediently cooking oil, and, if required, dyes. The dry matter component contains the alkali metal salt of fruit acid in order to increase the mouldability of the modelling clay composition.
