<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the expanding deformation of a slit at the time of inserting a connecting member into the hollow part of a balustrade body with the slit and fixing the connecting member by fastening a screw, thereby fixing the connecting member positively. CONSTITUTION:A slit 11 is longitudinally formed at the lower part of a hollow balustrade body such as a coping 4, and protruding or groove like guide parts 13 are formed at both side upper edge parts 12 of the slit 11. An engaging part 15 to be engaged with each guide part 13 is formed at a connecting member 14 inserted into the hollow part 10 of the balustrade body so as to connect the balustrade bodies to each other or the balustrade body to a support. At the time of pressing and fixing the connecting member 14 to each upper edge part of the slit 11 by fastening a screw 18, the expanding deformation of the slit 11 is suppressed by the engagement between the guide part 13 and the engaging part 15.</p> |
