PURPOSE:To transmit control signals different in communication specifications without increasing the number of transmission channels for control signal transmission. CONSTITUTION:A CATV system is provided with a signal transmission line 2 including plural channels formed by dividing. the frequency band, plural TV receivers 32a and 32b connected to the signal transmission tune 2 through terminal equipments 31a and 31b, and a CTAV center 1 which is connected to one end of the signal transmission line 2 and is provided with an information processor 11 which sends control signals for terminal equipments 31a and 31b to the transmission line 2 through FSK modulators 12a and 12b. This communication control method is applied to the CATV system like this one where terminal equipments 31a and 31b different in communication specifications are connected to the transmission line 2 in common. Selected one of plural control signals different in communication specifications is sent to one channel of the transmission line 2 only for a required period, and the control signal is cut off including the carrier signal when it is unnecessary. |
