PURPOSE:To discharge the collected ash as a relatively small amt. of stable and harmless sludge by circulating the sodium hydroxide for a neutralizer, generated by th electrolysis of a separated waste liq. to a waste gas treating stage to make the collected ash separated from liq. stable and harmless. CONSTITUTION:An acidic gas is neutralized with sodium hydroxide, and the ash is collected in a waste gas treating stage. The collected ash is slurried, a heavy metal precipitating chemical is added to the slurry, and then the solid and liq. in the slurry are separated in the collected ash treating stage. The separated waste liq. is electrolyzed in the electrolytic stage. The sodium hydroxide formed by the electrolysis is circulated to the waste gas treating stage and used for a neutralizer, and the separated and collected ash is made into a stable harmless sludge. Consequently, the acidic gas in the waste gas is removed with high efficiency at the low running cost, the ash collected from the waste liq. is rationally made stable and harmless, and the final disposal is facilitated. |
