<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting and change of twisting condition, concerning a cable twister for removing the fray of a core at the time of pressure bonding of a terminal. CONSTITUTION:A pair of twisting bars 10 and 10' in opposition shift with each other in reverse direction while catching a cable W Twisting bar holders 11 and 11' for supporting the twisting bars 10 and 10' ascend and descend by a cam plate 27 reciprocating at a specified angle. The twisting bar holders 11 and 11' are held capable of sliding up and down by a pair of holding members 17 and 17', and the holding, members 17 and 17' are free of contact and separation in the direction orthogonal to the twisting bars 10 and 10' by an air chuck 19. Accordingly, the setting and change of the twisting conditions will do merely by changing the catching force of the cable W by the twisting bars 10 and 10' by, for example, air pressure, so the adjustment can be made easily and quickly.</p> |
