<p>PURPOSE:To automatize work and realize mass production by impregnating a specified amount of an affinity agent for accelerating wettability of phosphoric acid into one side each of a matrix not yet stacked, an electrode, a porous carbon plate with rib for storing phosphoric acid, then applying phosphoric acid thereto. CONSTITUTION:A matrix sheet 1 is placed on an aluminium plate 15 coated with polytetrafluoroethylene, and a specified amount of phosphoric acid affinity agent is applied to the sheet 1 from the upper part with a spray 16. Then a specified amount of phosphoric acid whose concentration is about 100% is applied with a spray 17. The aluminium plate 15 and the sheet 1 are heated with a heater plate 18 at about 160 deg.C for about five minutes. Phosphoric acid wettability to a specified part of the sheet is accelerated and damage of the sheet 1 is prevented.</p> |
