PURPOSE:To reduce a danger of interception and to prevent illegal use by registering plural spread codes to a master set, revising a spread code in use every time the master set and slave set are connected in a predetermined way so as to implement communication. CONSTITUTION:When a master set 1a and a slave set 9a are connected as specified such as in the charging state connection, the slave set 9a is connected to the master set la mechanically and electrically by placing the slave set 9a to a charging section of the master set 1a. Then a detection signal from a connection detection section 23 of the master set 1a is sent to a control section 8a and a spread code used for succeeding communication from a spread code stored in a spread code storage section 21 is sent to the slave set 9a by a spread code transmission section 22. When the slave set 9a detects it that a connection detection section 27 is connected to the master set la, the slave set 9a awaits the transmission of the spread code used for succeeding communication from the master set la at the spread code reception section 25. When it is received, it is stored in a reception spread code storage section 26. The spread code is used for both the set in the succeeding communication to implement spread spectrum processing thereby preventing interception by other radio equipment or the like.
