A lower metallic die has a major surface for supporting a workpiece thereon. A ridgeline is formed on an end portion of the major surface and with which a bending portion of the workpiece is brought into contact. An upper metallic die has a plane surface rotatable in a bending direction of the workpiece to clamp the workpiece together with the ridgeline of the lower metallic die, thereby freely bending workpiece at one angle of desired various angles. A rotation controller controls rotation of the plane surface of the upper metallic die, thereby rotating and positioning the plane surface at a position of the one angle of the desired various angles.
