PURPOSE:To provide a biomedical metal capable of exhibiting excellent affinity for organism when this metal is used as a biomedical material. CONSTITUTION:This biomedical metal having the excellent affinity for organism consists, by atomic %, 0.3 to 60% Ca and/or Ba, 10 to 60% O and the balance Ti. At least part among the respective elements of the Ca, Ba and Ti exist as the following compds.: Ca:CaO2 and/or TiCaO3, Ba:BaO2, and/or TiBaO3, Ti:TiO2. |
