PURPOSE:To enable a viewer to easily recognize the charged rate by multiplexing the rate for a chargeable program to broadcast it from the broadcasting side and calculating the accumulated rate for watching to display it on a display picture on the reception side at the time of his watching at the chargeable program. CONSTITUTION:The broadcasting station side converts program related information as auxiliary broadcast information into a signal of the DTMF signal form and multiplexes it with a main broadcast audio signal to broadcast it. The broadcast signal received on the reception side is demodulated into a video signal and an audio signal by a tuner/decoder part 11. The demodulated audio signal is supplied to a DTMF decoder 15 through a processing circuit 14. A CPU 31 always searches the output of the DTMF decoder 15, and it takes in the decoder output to record it in a DRAM 33 when detecting the DTMF signal included in the broadcast program received at present. A control system 30 calculates the rate based on program related information, which is recorded in the DRAM 33 an includes the rate system, and displays it on the picture of a television receiver 200. |
