PURPOSE:To provide a shock absorbing material which can absorb a shock to protect a cylindrical container by inserting the shock absorbing material into a gap when the cylindrical container is contained in a rectangular parallelopiped-shaped packing box and which can be recycled. CONSTITUTION:A shock absorbing material 1 made of one corrugated board sheet having folds whose entire length is vertically extended is substantially linearly symmetric in its development shape and comprises a bottom part 2, a rear part 3, side parts 4, 4, rear wings 5, 5, bottom wings 6, 6, a front pad 7 and a separate piece 8. |
