PURPOSE:To provide a recording system, a recording medium and a recording unit performing processings not so as to hinder the recording operation of information data in the recording system where the recording medium for which a deletion operation is necessary before recording is used. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium recorded with information data has a first recording area 53 recorded with information data and a second recording area 54 recorded with data which can recognize the deleted area in the first recording area 53.
