PURPOSE:To prevent a different kind of toner from being replenished to a developing device main body. CONSTITUTION:A notched part for engagement 37 is formed on each toner replenishing container 30B so that each shape of the notched part may be different from that of the notched part for the other kinds of the toner replenishing container 30B, and the developing device main body 10 is provided with an actuating mechanism 21 equipped with an actuating pin 22 which is engaged with the notched part for engagement 37 of the toner replenishing container 30B selected for a 1st toner replenishment and for allowing the toner replenishing container 30B to move toward a fixed position in a locking direction (direction A) and also placed on such a position where the pin can be engaged only with the notched part for engagement 37 of the toner replenishing container of the same kind at the contained 30B by using moving force of the notched part for engagement 37. |
