ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic device for high-image quality not generating a black streak like image noise on a nonimage part. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor drum 15 having a fixed magnet 16 inside is used and brought into contact with a magnetic developer in a developer reservoir 20 after an electrostatic latent image is formed, to attract the developer to the surface of a photoreceptor with magnetic force. When an electrode roller 22 to which an AC voltage is impressed passes through, toner remains only on an image part and it is developed and actualized. A seal like sealing member 27 installed on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the photoreceptor of the developer reservoir 20 and abutted on he photoreceptor 15 is made of a polyethylene terephthalate film and has <=50mum thickness. Thus, the electrophotographic device for the high-image quality hot generating the black streak like image noise in a subscanning direction on the nonimage part can be obtained.
