PURPOSE:To block generation of a forgery document based on any of image data by using a forgery document discrimination means so as to discriminate whether or not image data from a host computer and image data from an image scanner are forged data. CONSTITUTION:A video controller 105 sends image data to a selector 104 in matching with a timing and a voltage level in the inside of a digital color copying machine 100. In the case of copy processing, the selector 104 selects image data from a scanner 106 and in the case of print processing, the selector 104 selects image data of the controller 105 and provides an output of the selected data. A forgery prevention unit 103 executes forgery prevention processing to discriminate whether or not image data selected by the selector 104 are forged data and provides an output. An image processing section 102 implements MTF correction, gamma correction, dither processing and color correction processing or the like to provide an output of image data expressed in C, M, Y, K to a color engine 101. The engine 101 emits a light corresponding to image data to a photoreceptor charged in advance to form an electrostatic latent image, to which charged color toner is depositted thereby forming a toner image. |
