PURPOSE:To simplify the window setting work at the time of observing the same object under different observing conditions so as to remarkably reduce the working burden an the operator of a picture processor. CONSTITUTION:After taking the picture of an object 1 with a TV camera 2 of a prescribed camera magnification alpha and displaying the picture on a display screen 3, a plurality of points P1-P8 which specify a measuring area 5 is inputted around the picture 4 of the object by watching the screen 3. Then, after taking the picture of the object 1 with a TV camera 2 of camera magnifications betaand displaying the picture on the screen 3, the ratio of the magnification alphaof the camera 2 to that beta of the camera 2 and the coordinates of the center position C of the above-mentioned picture part 6 are inputted. Therefore, a picture processor generates picture data constituting a window from the coordinates of points Q1-Q8 which specify the measuring area 7 corresponding to the picture 6 of the object after calculating the coordinates of the points Q1-Q8 from the coordinates of the points P1-P8 and input data. |
