PURPOSE:To provide an insertion detector which does not require an operator to reset amplification degree and a reference voltage for changing a type of a circuit substrate when inserting a lead of an electronic part to a circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:An insertion detector is formed, which has a strain gauge 6 for emitting an output waveform 14 by a strain amount generated in a click when a lead of an electronic part is inserted to a circuit substrate and the inserted lead is clinched by a clinch stand and a click, an amplification degree variable amplifier 8a for amplifying the output waveform 14 and a comparator 9a which outputs judging waveforms 17a, 17b of defective or non-defective of clinch on comparing a voltage of an amplified output waveform 16 to a reference voltage. A clinch force detection means 11 for detecting clinch force applied to a lead when a click clinches from the output waveform 14 of the strain gauge 6 and a switching means for switching amplification degree of the amplification degree variable amplifier 8a according to the detected clinch force are also added. |
