PURPOSE:To provide a monitoring device moving between stories which has a small size, light weight, and wide reachable extent, and can be effectively applied to a nuclear power plant, etc., by adopting a mechanism moving between stories utilizing an elevator and radio system. CONSTITUTION:The monitoring device which performs patrolling and inspecting work while moving between upper and lower stories is provided with an elevator 33 which moves between stories in a building 13 and a moving monitoring robot 1 which is mounted on a truck so that the robot 1 can get on and off from the elevator 33 and has a remote-controlled self-running function and monitoring function. |
