PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature control of a refrigerating chamber and improve cooling speed while restricting the variety of freezing chamber temperature during defrosting. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator is constituted of a partitioning wall 3, partitioning a freezing chamber 4 and a refrigerating chamber 5 and equipped with an upper communicating passage 6, an opening and closing device 16, provided at the side of the refrigerating chamber 5 in the upper communicating passage 6, a refrigerating duct having the shape of a U-trap, cold air supplying ducts of upper and lower two layers, which are equipped above the freeing chamber 4 to guide cold air from a freezing chamber fan 10 into the refrigerating chamber 5, and a refrigerating chamber fan, connected to the refrigerating duct 20 through a connecting duct. |
