摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate highly accurate dimensional management of a gap between a lock member and a fixed member by controlling the timing for driving an electric or magnetic field action means corresponding, respectively, to the driving section of an oscillator and each lock member thereby controlling the driving of a mover in a scheduled direction. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is applied to an oscillator, i.e., a piezoelectric element 21, in order to shift a lock member 22. A voltage is then applied to an electrode 22 in order to substantially fix the lock member 22 to a fixed section 24. Subsequently, the same voltage as the fixed electrode 24a is applied to an electrode 23a in order to eliminate the potential difference between the electrodes 23a, 24a thus releasing the fixed state between the lock member 23 and the fixed section 24. When conduction of the piezoelectric element 21 is interrupted, the piezoelectric element 21 contracts to be shifted. Similarly, a voltage is applied to the electrode 23a thus fixing a lock member 23 substantially to the fixed section 24. The same voltage as the fixed electrode 24a is applied to the electrode 22a in order to release the lock member 22 from the fixed section 24 thus shifting the piezoelectric element 21 in a scheduled direction.
