PURPOSE:To provide a picture processor capable of outputting picture data processed with optimum color matching without requiring operator's intervention except that the operator executes only the selection of a candidate for a color matching processing method and its selecting method. CONSTITUTION:An operator selects plural color matching processing methods in a step S105, and after selecting one of evaluation methods for the selected processing methods in a step S106, respective color matching methods are evaluated in a step S111. An optimum color matching method is determined in a step S113 and picture data obtained after executing color matching processing are outputted in a step S115.
