PURPOSE:To decently and cleanly erase or correct the arbitrary part of printed matter wherein color forming printing is applied to thermal color forming paper. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer ribbon wherein a thermal transfer layer is formed on one surface of a base material 1, a thermal transfer color erasing ribbon wherein the surface of a thermal transfer layer is formed of a color erasing layer 2 erasing the developed color part of thermal color forming paper and a thermal transfer correction ribbon formed from two parts of a color erasing layer 2 for performing correction by color erasing and re-printing and a hot-melt ink layer 6 are provided to perform thermal transfer color erasure and thermal transfer color correction.
