PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of a facility by specifying a thermal expansion coefficient of a metal component material of a high-temperature fuel cell facility comprising a ceramic solid electrolytic consisting of a yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide in a specific range. CONSTITUTION: For a metal component of a facility in which a solid electrolyte consists of a yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide, a material of 8.5×10<-6> to 10.5×10<-6> /K in the range of thermal expansion coefficient at a temperature of 200 deg.C and 14×10<-6> to 15×10<-6> /K in the range of thermal expansion coefficient at 900 deg.C is used. A metal component of this sort includes a titanium/ chromium alloy or the like, and an average expansion coefficient is within the range of 0 to 1000 deg.C and has a value close to a solid electrolytic plate. Consequently, using this alloy for a di-pole plate and a window foil or the like prevents a sodium electrolytic plate with its high frittleness and weak tensile stress from being cracked. |
