PURPOSE:To obtain the utilization state of a copying device without going to the set place of the copying device by recognizing an image as data on the utilization state in the case of judging that image information is the image of the utilization state. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of the copying device 11 capable of outputting the image of the utilization state, a facsimile 12 transmitting the image to a server machine 14, a communication network 13, and the server machine 14. The server machine 14 receives the image information from a facsimile interface 141. By using an OCR function being a recognizing function in a processor 145, whether the image information is the image information where the utilization state of the device 11 is recorded is judged. The OCR function is realized by executing a program stored in a CPU 145a or a ROM 145b. Whether the utilization state of the device 11 is converted into the data on the utilization state of the device 11 is judged by using the OCR function. In the case it is converted into the data on the utilization state, the utilization state of the device 11 is obtained. |
