PURPOSE: To produce a positive recording material capable of developing with a weak alkaline developing agent, without making a developing time longer or increasing a quantity of the developing agent per quantity to be treated. CONSTITUTION: In the positive recording material, having an aluminum base material and a dull radiation-sensitive layer, (1) a radiation-sensitive compd. is an ester of 1,2-naphthoquinone 2-diazido 4- or 5-sulfonic acid and a phenolic compd., containing at least two phenolic hydroxy groups, (2) a binder is a phenol/formaldehyde novolac and (3) at least one kind phenolic additive having a mol.wt. MW of less than 600 and containing 2-4 of a non-condensed phenyl uncleus and at least 6mmol/g phenolic hydroxy group is incorporated moreover, in the radiation-sensitive layer. |
