PURPOSE:To surely and efficiently attach a pair of pinions to the pair of pinion supporting parts of a defcase together with a washer in a state where these pinions are engaged with a pair of differential gears. CONSTITUTION:A pair of first and second pinion holders 6 and 7 are provided, one pinion C and a washer CW are held via a dummy shaft 64 pressed to the extending side of the first pinion holder 6 in a laminated state and another pinion C is helf on the second pinion holder 7. Both pinions C are engaged with a pair of differential gears B attached to a defcase A in the opening parts of both sides of the defcase A by means of both pinion holders 6 and 7, the dummy shaft 64 is pushed out of the first pinion holder 6 and this is fitted into both pinions C. Both pinions are caused to revolve and sent to both pinion supporting parts A3. The end of the dummy shaft 64 are fitted into a hole, both pinions C are core-determined and a pinion shaft is inserted into the hole while pushing out the dummy shaft.
