<p>PURPOSE:To enable the desirable binding of a sheet bundle without enlarging the dimension of a distributing tray by feeding a sheet bundle in the carrying direction, and performing the first stapling to the rear end side of the sheet bundle in the carrying direction, and thereafter, performing the feedback of the sheet bundle so as to perform the second stapling to the tip side of the sheet bundle in the carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:Sheet bundle discharging means 10 adjacent to each other are arranged in the horizontal direction in relation to a distributing tray 4, and a sheet bundle X is carried in the discharging direction at a right angle to the intake direction by an upper and a lower carrying belts 10a, 10b. A stapler means 11 with multiple built-in binding staplers S is arranged in the sheet bundle X carrying route. After the first stapling is performed on the rear end of the sheet bundle X in the carrying direction by the stapler means 11, reverse conveyance of the sheet X is performed so that the second stapling is performed to the tip side of the sheet bundle X in the carrying direction. Binding of the sheet bundle X can be thereby well performed without enlarging the distributing tray 4.</p> |
