Composition having plant growth regulating activity, comprising a conjugate consisting of a plant growth regulator coupled to a biodegradable compound and a carrier and a diluent acceptable for plants. The plant growth regulator may be an auxin, cytokinin, abscisic acid, ethylene, anti-ethylene, gibberellin or anti-gibberellin and the biodegradable compound may for example be a protein or a sugar. The compositions show an increased desirable activity, as in the case of auxins an improvement in root induction. |
