PURPOSE:To provide an electrode protection structure by which short circuit between electrodes is prevented and sticking of contaminations to the electrode is surely prevented when batteries are not used. CONSTITUTION:Electrode protection structure comprises a box-shaped case main body 2, secondary batteries 2 housed in the case main body 2, openings 4, 4 formed in the case main body, into which terminals of an electronic appliance are inserted, electrodes 5, 5 installed in a position capable of electrically connecting to the terminals inserting from the openings 4, 4, and one opening/ closing body 6 slidingly installed so as to open and close the openings in the case main body. When batteries are not used, the opening/closing body 6 is slid to close the openings to prevent the contact of some conductive material with the electrodes in the case main body and entering of contaminations from the openings. |
