PURPOSE: To reduce labor and cost for assembly by providing a battery tray, a battery charger and two or more electrically connected sealed lead-acid batteries. CONSTITUTION: A battery tray assembly 10 is provided with a battery tray 20, a battery charger 30 and four batteries 40a, 40b, 40c, 40d. A maintenance-free sealed valve-controlled lead-acid battery is used as each battery. The batteries 40 are connected to each other through connectors 41, and energy is supplied to an electric drive vehicle by a cable 42. The tray 20 includes three upright tray walls connected to a tray base part. These upright tray walls are formed of two sidewalls 22a, 22b and a front wall. A tray top part is connected to the upright tray walls. The tray 20 is provided with one or more separation walls, and the tray base part, sidewalls, front wall, tray top part and separation walls accommodate the batteries 40. |
