PURPOSE:To interpolate a free curved surface without distortion in an irregular curve mesh including an NURBS curve and an NURBS curved surface. CONSTITUTION:The continuity at a boundary is judged from boundary curves and curves connected to the respective boundary curves (a step 2,) connection conditions at the boundary are obtained from the obtained continuity (the step 3,) the internal control point of a surface is generated from the obtained connection conditions (the step 4) and two adjacent free curved surface shapes are smoothly connected (the step 5.) Thus, two curved surfaces for which the NURBS curve is a shared boundary are smoothly connected. |
